Tuition, Fees, and Expenses
Tuition
- The tuition for a six month 2012 PrepMD Training Program is $30,000.
- A nonrefundable deposit of $2,500 will be required within 30 days of notification of acceptance to reserve a spot for the student.
- Full tuition for the program is due on the date indicated on the students formal acceptance letter.
Fees
Inclusive of the tuition for training programs are the costs of initial clinical text books, study guides, laboratory fees, limited liability insurance, as well as any fees associated with the conduct of the medical-center based clinical rotations, with the exception of food, parking, and travel expenses incurred to and from the medical centers.
Expenses
Students who will require housing should review the housing tab on the left of this page. Housing expenses and daily meal expenses while attending PrepMD are the full responsibility of the student. PrepMD will not supply housing for any student but will provide any interested student with access to a number of housing options.
All meal expense during class periods are the responsibility of the student. PrepMD will maintain a beverage service during the course of the day consisting of snacks, coffees, teas, waters etc.
Students will be required to maintain their personal health insurance as well as insurance on their cars should they use them for transportation to and from the school or while on clinical rotation.
Refund Policy
Any student that discontinues their enrollment in any PrepMD program within the first two weeks of school (for any reason) will be provided a 100% tuition refund, minus their $2,500 deposit and a $1,000 administrative fee. If a student discontinues their enrollment after two weeks of study their refund will be issued in the following manner:
Discontinued Enrollment after two weeks but:
Within one month – $20,000 refund (less deposit and administrative fees)*
Within two months – $16,000 refund (less deposit and administrative fees)*
Within three months – $8,000 refund (less deposit and administrative fees)*
(Any refund will be paid within 60 days of the student’s termination date. All students that discontinue enrollment at PrepMD will be subject to forfeiting their $2,500 deposit and charged a $1,000 administrative fee.)
* If discontinued enrollment occurs as a result of employment of the student in the medical device industry, no refunds will be provided.
