Chat Rooms, Journals and WebLogs, Message Boards, Classifieds and Public Forums

Credit Card Privacy and Refund Policy

From time to time, applicant candidates and students may opt, at their discretion, to pay certain fees for PrepMD’s training services with credit cards via prepmd.org.  In such cases, the transaction will be processed through a third party vendor, Braintree, Inc., whose processing services are fully compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

Should you make payments by credit card, we will not sell or trade information regarding you and your account to others for their use.

A fee of either 2.2% or 2.8% will be applied to all credit card transactions, dependent on the degree of application compliance requirements.

Our tuition refund policy will apply to the payment of tuition by credit card.  That is:

Any student who discontinues their enrollment in any PrepMD program within the first two weeks of the training program (for any reason) will be provided a 100% tuition refund, minus the $2,500 non-refundable deposit paid 30 days after a student’s acceptance into the program (Deposit) and a $1,000 administrative fee (Administrative Fee).  If a student discontinues their enrollment after two weeks of study their refund will be issued in the following manner:

Discontinued Enrollment after two weeks but:

Within one month – $20,000 refund (less Deposit and Administrative Fee)

Within two months – $16,000 refund (less Deposit and Administrative Fees)

Within three months – $8,000 refund (less Deposit and Administrative Fees)

Any refund will be credited within 60 days of the student’s termination date.  All students that discontinue enrollment at PrepMD will be subject to forfeiting their Deposit and charged the Administrative Fee.  Our refund policy, as described, is premised upon the student’s payment in full of their tuition.

After three months from the enrollment date, no refund will be provided.

Note: No shipping policy is included in this Credit Card Privacy and Refund Policy, as PrepMD does not ship any goods to its students.

Changes in Our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may make changes to our Privacy Policy.  If we make changes, we will post them on our website to make users aware of what the changes are so users will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it.  A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted.  If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify users by posting a notice on our website for 30 days.
