Electrophysiology Curriculum
Upon completion of this study program, the PrepMD student will understand electrophysiology (EP) testing procedures and how these procedures are used to diagnose Brady (slow), Tachy (fast) and Atrial vs.Ventricular types of arrhythmias. The student will learn the diagnostic power of electrophysiology to predict the clinical outcomes of arrhythmic disease and to apply the appropriate therapeutic interventions to improve the clinical outcomes within the disease state.
Each PrepMD student will be trained to interpret ECGs.
